There's something wrong with the world. Something subtle, difficult to perceive, and even more difficult to express…

Four completely disconnected characters begin eerily similar journeys despite their geographical and temporal separation. As these unlikely heroes tug upon the veil atop their worlds, they'll discover both a frightful external power that'll do anything to remain hidden, and a hidden internal power that can't be contained.

An evil is embedded within us. Through manipulation, temptation, enticement, inducement, and all devious means of physical and material seduction, something has manipulated the affairs of man. This unseen yet massive power has funneled generations of sorrowful souls into the miseries of war, famine, calamity and chaos…

As the story progresses, our isolated and unappreciated individuals break from the squelch of their ordinary lives. Ancient powers are uncovered. Unexpected allies and endless enemies reveal themselves. They find community, the gift of vindication, purpose, a shot at happiness… but also a momentous quest.

At the bottom of the rabbit hole, our heroes find the dark descendant of the Big Bang who has corrupted Earth — but they also find the means for its destruction.

:: DECLASSIFIED — THE COSMOLOGY

IN THE BEGINNING

In the beginning, there was nothing but the brightest light and the coldest darkness. After uncounted eons, the first glimmers of consciousness materialized. The emergence of self-aware beings was the true birth of the universe, for there was no light and no dark without the minds of those who could perceive it.

Consciousness was — and is — as fundamental to the universe as the periodic table. As this fledgling yet fundamental force came to be, so too did an entirely new dimension of existence: the Ethereal Plane.

Nature faced Oblivion without hope for victory. Instead of trying to destroy Oblivion, Nature took hold of the ancient Destructive Spark and flung it back into the Material World. But before she left, Nature crafted a tether — pieces of herself, torn into existence during epic combat. Thus were born the seven Legendaries: POWER, STRENGTH, LIFE, LOVE, CHAOS, FAITH, and WAR.

:: THE ETERNAL FEUD

Oblivion did not go quietly. The terrible bloat of the Ethereal Plane transformed to the blight of the Material Universe. By furtively inserting itself into the affairs of man, through manipulation, temptation, and all devious means of seduction, Oblivion found a niche. It corrupted worlds, bred misery and war. And in doing so, created a never-ending funnel of sorrowful souls to swallow.

The Legendaries intervened to fight Oblivion. CHAOS proposed a final battle — luring Oblivion into the Ethereal Plane using WAR as a conduit. But when the battle turned, LOVE was left with no choice: to save everything, she had to sacrifice her brother. LOVE burned WAR and broke Oblivion's connection to the Ethereal Plane.

In the aftermath, the surviving six Legendaries split into two rival factions. LOVE, FAITH, and LIFE on one side. POWER, STRENGTH, and CHAOS on the other. Thus began The Eternal Feud.

:: THE GENUINE UNDEAD

Slumbering in the dark, waiting for the right time to return, is Nature. Every now and again, when Oblivion is hurt directly, Nature gains a bit of ethereal power. In those moments, she continues seeding the worlds of the universe with a giant army — the Genuine Undead.

It takes uncanny perceptive abilities to detect a Genuine Undead. Those destined to uncover the scattered army are special. Their mission is even more important: only the army can deal a final blow to Oblivion.
